Position Summary: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Director, the QA Specialist monitors compliance with contract requirements, program standards, health and safety protocols, and quality of services agency-wide.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintains knowledge of California Department of Education (CDE), Community Care Licensing (CLL), Department of Social Services (DPSS), Department of Mental Health (DPH), and Department of Public Health (DPH) requirements.
Monitors compliance with contracts, policies and procedures, laws, and regulations utilizing case file and onsite review instruments.
Evaluates parent, client, staff, and provider satisfaction using survey tools.
Identifies and assigns required corrections by program/department and ensures responses are received by the deadline.
Aggregates and validates review data reporting quality, compliance, and satisfaction outcomes and provides recommendations based on trends.
Supports other assignments to ensure all programs/departments reflect the agency’s mission, vision, and standards of service delivery and practice.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree; Quality Assurance/Compliance: 3 years; Proficient in Microsoft applications; General math proficiency; Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal skills; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to work objectively, independently and collaboratively, and protect confidential information; Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Non-profit/contracted organization experience.
Physical Requirements: This position requires finger dexterity (computer operations/database for data entry); the ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
and reach above shoulder level; the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in person and by telephone; travel to perform on-site reviews; and adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Flexible Part-time (24 hours, 3 days a week)
Wage Range: $20.00
– $27.00 per hour
