Let Volt help move you forwardVolt is immediately hiring for QA Receiver in Sun Valley, CA.Job AdvancementLong Term AssignmentGreat Company CultureAs a QA Receiver you will:Inspects incoming raw materials and/or packaging materials. •Inspects and reviews incoming product for integrity and correct documentation. Verifies BOL matches lot #s received.•Ensures product is being received with no damage, no contamination and/or not expired.•Ensures receipt of necessary documents from the Receivers. Example: BOL & COA. •Checks and verifies ingredient labels and identifies allergens.•Pull one sample from each lot # received and take to lab Analyst for testing and approval soon as product is received.•Properly fills out documents receiving reports and incoming raw material log. •Organizes and maintains updated and approval film and corrugate file.•Reports damaged product when done in house deviations from specifications to QA Manager.•Calibrates and operates all testing equipment. Performs all in-process and finished goods analysis as required by product specifications as needed.•Adheres to company policies, procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Code of Safe Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.•Maintains a quality-oriented attitude in the workplace.•Back up line Technician as needed.•Works in a safe and accident-free manner.•Wears all required safety equipment.•Other duties as assigned by Department ManagerThis is a full time opportunity.Mon – Thurs 4:00am to 2:30pm OT FridaysPay Rate: $19.50*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
