Emergency Department Float Pool – Registered Nurse

Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required to apply. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

Acute care facility experience: Preferred

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Travelers may float at any time between units and mid-shift to meet the needs of the patients and Client Facilities.

All assignment details (Rate, contract length, shift, etc.) are final-No exceptions or negotiations.

If an offer is received, a response is expected within 24 hours.

Upon signing a contract, you will need to complete a drug screen within 48 business hours.

This department only includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses. Float Pool nurses working a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked.

Moderate Sedation Exam required – Required w/in 1 year of start; 80% min. Relias only

BLS, ACLS and PALS must be AHA

NIHSS – Required w/in 1 year of start

Maximum days off: 7 days
