Our client is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their fast-growing team, and help them deliver amazing product for their customers. The Sr. QA Engineer will be a key member of their team, with touch points in design, manufacturing, packaging, and Rx lens fulfillment.
Responsibilities
· Oversee QA with contract manufacturers, creating inspection guidelines and managing 3rd party audits
· Work with warehouse team to manage incoming QA inspections as needed
· Work with internal engineering team to identify and implement corrective actions
· Analyze customer feedback data to identify correctable quality issues
· Present monthly quantified reports illustrating quality trends
Job Requirements:
- Must have five plus years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing Environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional experience as a QA engineer at a company which used overseas contract manufacturers
- Detailed knowledge of AQL methodology
- Basic manufacturing process knowledge
- Must have an eye for detail
- Must be highly organized and have deep product knowledge and quality trends
- Must be able to bring experience and knowledge when addressing a quality issue
- Must be a systems-level thinker, with the ability to operate across departments
