The Corporate Sustainability intern will play a key role in conducting Gartner’s carbon footprint analysis.

It will be an internship where students will apply the knowledge they have gained in the classroom and bring it to life at Gartner, helping the company advance sustainability program.

They will get the chance to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams in many parts of the organization.

Core Responsibilities will include:

Support sustainability data collection, reporting and analysis

Research special projects that advance Sustainability priorities and conduct peer benchmarking

Support internal and external stakeholder engagement

Support projects related to sustainability and carbon reduction, environment

Education : Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in sustainability, environmental studies or a related field.

If enrolled in a bachelor’s program, must have completed sophomore-level coursework.

Technical/Professional Skills :

Knowledge of the sustainability topics and ESG concept

Familiarity with internationally recognized sustainability reporting standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), GHG Protocol

Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills

Embraces team work and collaboration

Successfully navigates through ambiguity of a small immediate team and comfortable working with a large number of geographically dispersed internal stakeholders

Solutions oriented, problem solver
