We are seeking a self-motivated Engineer to investigate customer complaints and support the production of a medical device.

This position requires the ability to evaluate and solve technical problems and use technical judgment in planning, organizing, performing, coordinating and/or directing projects.

This is an on-site role supporting medical device manufacturing line by leading design changes, writing investigation reports, and updating production documents.

Work activities require a significant amount of sitting in front of a computer monitor and some standing/walking.

There is significant use of computer and other office equipment along with working in a controlled manufacturing environment using controlled procedures.

Responsibilities:Lead design changes, write investigation reports, and update production documents.Apply the scientific method to troubleshoot customer and production issues.Qualify and implement manufacturing test equipment for production, throughout lifecycle.Performs software and hardware documentation and validation (e.g.

equipment specification, software requirements, test protocols, design, testing, installation qualifications and test method validation) as required.Run reports for production and customer metrics and analyze data.Generates detailed project plans and timelines.Complies with U.S.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Requirements:Bachelors in any science, engineering, or technical degree or equivalent experience required.2 years manufacturing engineering or pharmaceutical experience.Strong documentation, problem solving, and project management skills.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Ability to work in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.Ability to engage others to collaborate and accomplish projects.Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
