JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking Project Engineers to be a part of upcoming construction projects in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
This is a great opportunity for engineers to learn the industry and understand project cost and budget.
The position requires an individual who can prioritize work effectively, adapt to the different working styles of the other members, organize work product and other materials for easy access, and anticipate, communicate, problem solve, and plan for inevitable changes in his/her assignments, workload and deadlines.
Responsibility
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department Assist with cost reporting & budget preparation Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements Reconcile accounts in a timely manner Perform billing-related duties as necessary Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database Provide assistance and support to company personnel Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Requirements
Engineering Software Knowledge Proficient with AutoCAD and/or SketchUp Understanding of site plans (grades and measurements) Experience in laying out a project BS in Civil Engineering or related experience Understanding of means and methods of grading techniques
