In this exciting role as a Diabetes Global Supply Chain Principal Supply Chain Planner you will have responsibility for efficiently managing the overall Supply Chain Planning requirements for Medtronic Diabetes Consumables products.
This position will champion supply chain initiatives and support the department’s strategic goals and objectives with limited direct supervision.
Primary responsibility will be ensuring product availability while meeting inventory targets and ensuring flawless launch of new products.

This specific role will support the Supply Chain Planning Team of specific Consumables items: infusion sets, reservoirs and accessories for Diabetes System.
These items are primarily supplied by Contract Manufacturers / Original Equipment Manufacturers (CM/OEM).

Plans and schedules the movement of CM/OEM finished goods and related material through production managing timelines and inventory process in order to properly allocate the supply to global regions.
Identifies CM/OEM finish goods related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
Analyzes data and determines factors that affect supply continuity in order to avoid constraints and disruptions while planning supply to be consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
Coordinates and follows up with CM/OEM suppliers, warehouse, and transportation personnel to ensure appropriate allocation, scheduling, and movement of materials to targeted regions.
Monitors performance of suppliers and manages supply analysis planning, contributing to demand analysis and financial forecast plans.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have Knowledgeable and skilled in SAP; preferably someone with significant experience in SAP.
Knowledgeable and skilled in Excel; preferably someone with significant experience in excel (Macros, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.).
Experienced in New Product Introduction / Phase In
– Phase Out / Launch of products.
Certifications/Training in: Continuous Improvement, CPIM, PMP, Lean, 6 Sigma.
