Part time schedule is as follows:Tuesdays: 9:30am – 5pm Thursdays: 12:30pm – 8pm Saturdays: 9am – 5:30pm YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS: The Phlebotomist contributes to AHF’s mission by providing friendly, informative, fast-paced services to patients in our Wellness Centers.
The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture/capillary puncture procedures and provides instructions to patients pertaining to self-administered specimen collection.
The phlebotomist answers patient questions, maintains confidentiality and creates a rapport that welcomes patients to return to the AHF Wellness Center.
Following OSHA guidelines and proper procedures can help protect the team member and create a safe environment for patients.
The Phlebotomist can help the Public Health Division succeed by contributing a team-oriented attitude and patient centered approach.
In addition, providing feedback to management about how service could be improved will allow the team member to enhance their contribution.
The Phlebotomist adds consistent value to the Public Health Division team by adapting to a fast pace environment with ease and by being flexible.
