Perioperative Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Incumbent will directly support thePerioperative Nursing Director with: managing expense requests from all areasof Perioperative Services (Main OR, SPD, and Support Services) including POgeneration, Accounts Payable review, and Lawson documentation of purchases;managing ISS requests and projects for Perioperative Services; acting MMliaison regarding back-order substitutions and communications betweendepartments to determine alternatives; acting Purchasing liaison for trials andsubstitutions; acting liaison with Asset Manager for capital purchasesprocessing (quotes, justifications).

Incumbent will work with departmentleadership (Main OR, SPD, and Support Services) as resource to daily inquiriesfor information on department operations and policies; capital inventorydocumentation and allocation between departments and across Operative Services,

Incumbent will provide administrative andspecial project support to the Perioperative Nursing Director, including butnot limited to meeting presentations and action plans. Incumbent will supportand manage action plans created by the department leadership Incumbent willroutinely review weekly metrics and report out data to department leaders tosupport alignment between action plans and department goals.

Incumbent will be the direct supervisor forPerioperative Services Administrative Staff and must have the skills,knowledge and abilities for new hire onboarding, requesting accesses fordepartment staff, submission of HR elements for change in title, separations,and all other PAR.  Incumbent will beable to support leadership with progressive discipline.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within frequently shifting workload.
Ability to work with core stand and senior management
Training or experience regarding supervision
Analytical skills sufficient to work and to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of Policies and Procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills to oversee staff, delegate responsibilities, provide training, provide oversight to daily activities, and participate in evaluation of performance standards.
At least 7 years of  health care experience
At least 3 years of health care management/supervisory experience
