– Part TimeThe Adrian Dominican Sisters are seeking an organized and detail oriented Office Assistant for their Office Support Services Department.

This is a part time position located on the Motherhouse campus in Adrian, MI.

What you will be doing: This position is responsible for assisting with the daily efficient operation of the Office Support Services Department by operating and maintaining all duplicating/printing machines, copiers, and office equipment.Pay: Non-exempt, Depends on experience.

Hours: Part Time, 20-25 hours per week, Monday

Performs general clerical tasks such as, typing, filing, data entry, mail merges and copying.Remains available to assist other offices as time and need permits such as, clerical work and copy set up.Maintains the operations of the department in the absence of the Office Support Services Supervisor.Oversees centralized office supplies and submits supply orders to Supervisor.

This includes tracking inventory in an accurate manner to avoid shortages which could disrupt project deadlines.Maintains an inventory of supplies needed for all campus copiers/printers.

In the absence of the supervisor, troubleshoots copier/printer problems and if necessary, places a service call.Coordinates and works with volunteersServes as a back-up in the mail room, operating the Pitney Bowes mail machine and Smart Mailer software.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience: Experience operating duplicating and printing equipment preferred.Graphic Design background or experience is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience with Windows/MS Word/ MS Excel/Outlook/Publisher preferred.

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and ability to set and rearrange priorities.
