Mashney Law Offices is a professional Personal Injury Law Firm looking to hire a full-time, who is a proactive individual with an interest in growing in the legal field and can both work autonomously and as part of a team.
A qualified individual will be proactive in learning and handling the multifaceted task associated with the position. Must have a keen eye for detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task under the pressure of deadlines. Must have a professional attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job Duties:
Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery.
Conduct legal research and analysis (familiarity with Lexis OR Westlaw)
Must be able to draft Demand Letters, Meet & Confer Letters, Mediation Briefs, Settlement Conference Briefs, Trial Briefs, and Motions (Ex Parte, Motion to Compel, Motions In Limine, Motion for Summary Judgment, Opposition, Reply, etc.)
Manage and prepare Trial Binders and preparation, including coordination of any witnesses
Request, manage and organize medical and billing records
Routine communications (verbal & in person) with clients, experts, insurance companies and attorneys
Assist with deposition preparation and exhibits
Follow up with clients and monitor medical treatment and case status
Requirements:
Paralegal Degree / Certificate
Minimum 1-3 year experience as a Paralegal
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
Have a desire to learn
