Package Associate (DTLA)

Job Summary: Log and distribute packages received at Resident Services Office to residents and provide administrative support.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for receiving and logging packages received from UPS, Fedex, etc.Responsible for delivering packages to residents on a daily basis and following up on any packages that have not been picked up within a specified window of timeAssist Resident Life Managers with answering phones and greeting residents as neededAnswers questions related to the availability of packages.Moves packages into storage area and maintains the area organized for ease of search for packages.Provide a wide range of administrative and support services to the office staff and the property manager as neededREQUIREMENTSGreat with people – warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phoneBe extremely organized and have the ability to multi-task.Be able to solve problems effectivelyMust be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to follow instructions in bothAbility to work weekend and holiday hours as neededHigh school diploma or GED required, 3-6 months customer service experience.Experience in mail room or customer service environment a plusExperience with entering data into a management system. Internet Explorer and MS Office programs.Salary Range: $17.00-$19.00 per hour, DOE.
