Order Puller

Receives, stores, and distributes finished product within establishments by performing the following duties.Primary Function: Responsible for warehousing, pulling, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.Reads shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and transfers items to staging areaPalletizes or packages materials as required for shipmentLoads or unloads trucks as required.

Receives materials and moves to specified storage areaEnters and retrieves specified data on UPS computer terminal.

Weighs and verifies box code against sales order.

Prepares parcels for mailing.Maintains inventory recordsPrepares and attaches labels and records data in UPS book.

Cleans and consolidates stock in work area.

Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor and as per DOI’sQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.JOB KNOWLEDGEMust have a knowledge of company products and warehouse/storage system.

Must be familiar with EDP codes and with the manifest UPS ship system.

Must be able to operate a fork lift.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMust have high school diploma or GED equivalent and three to six weeks related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.INITIATIVE: Job is routine and requires little supervision.
