Oracle ERP IT Project Assistant/Coordinator

About the Client The current ERP system, Oracle EBS, is the core financial and purchasing system of the Department. It provides mission-critical functionality required to support the Departmentrsquos business operations, decision-making, timely reporting, internal controls, business process integration, and other information needs. These critical functionalities include Core Accounting, Planning Budgeting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grants Project Management, Fixed Assets, and Warehouse Inventory and Cost Management, Debt Treasury, and employee travel and business reimbursement expenses. The infrastructure for current system resides on-premise and all servers run in a virtual environmentCurrent configuration consists of four environments Production, Staging, Testing, and Development. Oracle ERP Software The Client Department Oracle ERP Software includes the following products Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Release 12.1.3 Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Version 20.10.70 The Client Department requires services of an IT Project AssistantCoordinator an as- needed basis to work side by side with Client Department IT staff, Business Systems Analysts and System Integrator during the upgrade and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP It is required that these professionals have about 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS) integration and migration, Cloud Application Security and Authentication, Oracle and MS SQL Server database administration and data archiving, Web Services development and E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, project scheduling, resource planning, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Projects, Primavera, or any project management software. Provide administrative support and coordination to Oracle ERP Cloud migration project and teams. Requirement Assist the Client Departmentrsquos IT Project Manager in planning, analyzing, and budget management. Prepare and maintain project documentation including project schedules, status reports, presentations, resource plans, meeting schedules and notes. Document, monitor and track process improvement tasks throughout the project. Organize and facilitate periodic stakeholders, status meeting, i.e., weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings. Organize and coordinate technical and functional trainings at specified times during the implementation, according to the Project Timeline Plan, draft and support communication efforts as needed. Work with System Integrator Project Manager to ensure project deadlines are met. Other as-needed related project administrative tasks. Qualifications Minimum five years of experience with IT project management Proficiency in use of Microsoft Projects, Primavera or any comparable project management tool Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PMP Certified is required Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills Assess project risks and issues and provide solution where applicable Ability to manage day-to-day aspects of IT operation projects with regard to scope, schedule, resources and budget Demonstrated skill in coordinating logistics for project activities Prepare and maintain project documentations including project schedules, status reports, presentations, resource plans, meeting schedules and notes Good time management and organizational skills
