OR RN Circulator Part-time
Providence Summit Surgery Center
“Summit” is an accredited ambulatory surgery center in Santa Clarita performing multi-specialty procedures with heavy emphasis on orthopedics and urology. We are currently seeking an experienced circulating nurse for the OR. Per diem and part-time positions are available for the right candidate.

Willingness to be involved in various ancillary functions throughout the facility on an as-needed basis.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a surgical setting.
- Knowledge of the actions, potency, side effects, dosages, and contraindications of drugs used for IV moderate sedation.
- Ability provide patient care in surgical setting and emergency situations.
- Ability to work in a creative, organized, self-directed and goal setting manner.
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient’s medical condition.
- Ability to set priorities.
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency.
- Ability to work respectfully as part of a team.
- Ability to accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders/directions.
- Skill in interacting with others in a positive and considerate manner.
- Skill in the safe operation of equipment and machinery.
- Proficient in the use of technology including computer and standard office equipment.
Required Skills:
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California. Current American Heart BLS and ACLS certification required. PALS recommended. BSN preferred. Minimum one year multi-specialty circulating experience required. Position requires weekdays only, M-F, no call, no weekends.
