HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with a well-established Distributor in need of a Routing Coordinator in the Riverside, CA area.Position: Routing CoordinatorSchedule:Second Shift: Monday Friday 5pm 1:30am, overtime as neededLocation:Riverside, CACompensation: $18+ DOEResponsibilitiesCreates routing schedules for delivery trucks in the safest most efficient manner (creating the shortest and safest routes possible to minimize driver overtime) while considering weight and balance distribution of material on the truck and assembles work orders according to truck routes for loadersReview work orders for correct delivery truck route.Break down work orders and separate according to assigned truck route.Sets up the most efficient delivery route for each truck, assigning the best sequence of deliveries to customers.Route the work orders for routing logs so that the material can be loaded on the trucks in delivery order (first on, last off).Compiles the exception report including the reasons for orders not shipping the next day.Perform other material handler duties as assigned by the management.Skills & QualificationsAbility to solve practical problems and provide appropriate solutions.Ability to organize daily responsibilities for maximum effectiveness. Ability to take ownership of and focus on critical initiatives.Strong detail orientation and understanding of safe work processes and proceduresAbility to communicate clearly and conciselyAbility to utilize a forklift, side loader, pallet jack, scissor-lift, tape measure, calipers, micrometerBasic math skillsKnowledge of IMS business system preferredMust be comfortable utilizing Google Maps and possesses basic computer skillsMust be able to lift at least 75 pounds without assistance.
