We are seeking a long-term, full-time optometrist to work in an ophthalmology/optometry medical-surgical group practice in Los Angeles.
The practice is comprised of one optometrist, and five ophthalmologists.
Our office provides comprehensive eye care, with fourteen exam lanes, an optical dispensary, nearly thirty supporting personnel, with an affiliated Ambulatory Surgical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy practice with ethical doctors in a major metropolitan area.
All our ophthalmologists are board certified. Our optometrists are certified in the Therapeutic Management of Ocular Disease.
Requirements for the position include completion of an approved optometric training program and licensure in the state of California. We are seeking a well-trained optometrist who is hard-working and mature, is able to handle a busy patient load, writes legibly, has high ethical standards, and can work relatively independently. The applicant must have superior interpersonal capabilities and communication skills.
In our office we provide a pleasant environment where the doctors are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect. Our patients are by-and-large pleasant and appreciative, and many speak Spanish as their primary language, so fluency in the Spanish language is a must.
The applicant must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment that entails caring for 30 or more patients per day. Review of applications are to begin immediately.
