Position Responsibilities The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Interact regularly with customers, in person, as the primary point of contact for automotive testing and related activities.
Support rental/leasing of Proving Ground facilities including test tracks, garage, and office space.
Schedule and coordinate daily test track and facility usage and maintain the FTTA testing schedule.
Evaluate customer test plans for safety and perform risk assessments.
Assist with the development and implementation of rules and regulations related to test track operations.
Maintain accurate records of facility and resource utilization and prepare reports for customers and management.
Manage documents and processes related to test track operations including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and legal agreements.
Support sales activities including trade shows, marketing events, and the acquisition of new customers.
Participate in the development of advertising materials such as brochures and websites.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience 2 years’ experience supporting operations or administration in a business setting.
Automotive preferred but not required.
Demonstrated competence preparing quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and other official documents/records.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external contacts Ability to develop technical and business correspondence Strong computer skills and ability to create graphs, spreadsheets, and charts[BM2] Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Highly flexible and adaptable, self-starter, capable of working on multiple projects concurrently.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of current technologies (SharePoint, MS Office, Excel).
Beneficial Skills and Experience Experience working at a proving ground supporting vehicle testing Knowledge of safety regulations and requirements with a safety-first mindset (OSHA compliance, etc.) Knowledge of continuous improvement processes including PDCA and Kaizen Creative ability to develop new ideas and content for marketing materials Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Experience with event planning / coordination Experience in automotive industry with understanding of standard job functions and requirements within the industry.
Experience in multi-cultural environment, preferably Japanese-based.
Education/Training/Certifications Associate’s degree or higher Experience level will be taken into consideration Work Environment Requirements This is not a work from home or hybrid position.
