Position Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to provide support to our clients and operations team. The candidate must be self­-motivated, incredibly detail­-oriented, and extremely comfortable multitasking. The position reports to the Director of Operations and works alongside a small team, assisting the company owner, employees and clients.

We are looking for someone to work full-time 37-40 hours/week, and cover weekend shifts on a rotating basis. This is primarily a WORK FROM HOME position, with occasional visits to West Los Angeles.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Managing proctored exam schedule and process (confirming students’ attendance, scanning answer sheets, assigning proctors, etc)
  • Proofreading and editing various email blasts, marketing materials, etc.
  • Answering phones (we will provide a work phone) and providing excellent customer service and knowledge of services and products to prospective clients
  • Various administrative projects as assigned, such as running reports, creating/updating spreadsheets and documents, etc.
  • Correspondence between clients and staff, follow-up with prospective clients
  • Matching and connecting potential students with tutors/counselors with sense of urgency
  • Data entry into our system and spreadsheets (i.e. new client information, order/payment processing, managing accounts)
  • SIGNIFICANT multi-tasking

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with both Google and Apple products/applications
  • Basic administrative experience
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Professional and warm phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent follow­-up and follow­-through
  • Quick response time
  • Home office set­up (computer, scanner/printer, etc) and ability to work well from home
  • Ability/Flexibility to drive to West LA for meetings (1-2x/month)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Familiarity with standardized testing and college application process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
