Operations and Program Administrator, UCAAN

Responsibilities
The UCLA-UCSF ACEs Aware Family Resilience Network (UCAAN) is a multi-campus initiative that will leverage the substantial interdisciplinary resources of both public health sciences campuses to screen patients for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and develop, promote, and sustain evidence-based methods to address the impacts of trauma and toxic stress.

As the Operations and Program Administrator (OPA) of UCAAN, you will:
Oversee programs and operations within UCAAN’s three departments: Education & Training, Clinics & Communities, and Evaluation & Evidence
Plan, implement and lead strategic initiatives and projects
Work with HR to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative duties to support daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, procedures and relevant documents
May convert to career

Qualifications
Three years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a health care, academic, governmental, or startup environment
Demonstrated project management skills, including experience setting up project objectives, determining and addressing potential barriers, identifying process steps, resources, and milestones, and adjusting action plans to achieve desired outcomes
Experience within the field of HR and knowledge of HR laws, principles, and practices
Comfortable generating and encouraging creative ideas, innovative thinking and imaginative solutions to issues or problems
Analytical skills to assess information, practices and procedures, define problems, formulate logical conclusions, develop alternative solutions and implement recommendations that optimize long-term strategic growth
Not required, but a bonus if you have the following:
HR experience in a university setting or health care organization
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP Certification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
