The Operations Analyst will drive key decisions and improvements through rigorous and detailed analysis of operational data.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Analyst will play a key role in helping scale and improve our hyper growth logistics operation through volume forecasting and staff planning to ensure our commitments to retailers are met.

Key areas of responsibility include:

* Determining the operational plan using analytics to forecast volume, identify staffing numbers to cover volume month over month as volume grows.
* Owns the analysis and reporting on operations, including labor productivity and transportation spend
* Works with the Director of Operations and Senior Product Managers to create a reporting regime fully capturing all necessary data to understand productivity and quality
* Leads an effort to optimize data to better understand and control items as they move through our logistics network
* Creating automated reporting in Looker, our data visualization tool

Requirements
We are looking for someone with:

* B.S.

or B.A.

degree
* 4-6 years’ related experience using reporting and analytics to drive operational improvements and insight
* Advanced excel skills / VBA experience.
* SQL experience and structural understanding of databases required
* Looker experience and knowledge other coding languages preferred but not required
* Experience in an ultrafast-scaling organization and/or excitement to be a part of one – we are disrupting a multi-billion dollar industry and are expecting tremendous growth in the near-term
* Fine-tuned attention to detail – reporting and analysis created by this role will be high stakes with little room for error
* Excitement for working in a start-up environment with high level of ambiguity and change
* Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
* A long-term perspective on career development and desire to grow professionally within the company
