Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist 4 in our Northridge, CA.

Location.Source and procure various commodities ranging from electronics to mechanical components.Ability to analyze and evaluate supplier quotes, schedule, and/or terms and conditions, while working closely with the Program Management teamInitiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations.Manages performance of purchase orders, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.In conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules.Identifies opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through targeted negotiations.Monitor Supplier performance to support required delivery schedules.Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply ChainAbility to plan schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectiveWritten and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power userBasic Qualifications (Level 4):Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years experience or a Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience or a High School diploma/equivalent with 14 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, supplier management, and/or related industry experienceU.S.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearanceExperience in Supplier ManagementExtensive Knowledge of MS Office applications (Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel)Preferred Qualifications (Level 4):Active DoD Security ClearanceMasters’ Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related fieldExperience with consulting and service ordersLEAN or Process Improvement certificationSalary Range: 94200 141400Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
