Harold and Associates, LLC (AHA) is seeking a Navy Personnel Specialist (PS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team.
The PS SME will be a core member of the courseware development team, working directly with Instructional System Designers, Multimedia Specialists/Graphic Artists, and Computer Based Training Specialists (CBTS) to assist in the design and development of instructionally sound training solutions.
The PS SME will provide technical input and interpretation of PS publications and legacy courseware content and will support all aspects of PS “A” School courseware development.
The ideal candidate is a prior USN PS Second Class Petty Officer (E-5) or above with Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) development experience on a courseware development team.
This position is based out of Newport, RI with the ability to work onsite or remotely.
However, the candidate will be required to reside within 150 miles of Newport, RI.This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected award of Jul-Aug 2022 timeframe.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborates with project team members supporting design and development of lesson outlines and script storyboards Supports Development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courseware and supporting documents Knowledgeable with appropriate PS and NETC references, standards and directives Works closely with graphics specialists, instructional designers, courseware developers to meet all customer requirements and deliver training products within a specific time frame Excellent knowledge and experience with applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and/or other commercial-off-the-shelf authoring tools Provides technical guidance and subject matter expertise to Instructional Designers and Instructional Developers to ensure technically accurate training products are developed Assists Instructional Designers with creating and validating Terminal and Enabling Training Objectives Performs content reviews and validations of all training products including reviews of all Lesson Plans (LPs), Training Guides (TGs), and IMI products Provides technical input and interpretation of military technical publications Verifies and ensures the technical and operational accuracy of PS subject matter Other duties as assigned Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior Navy Personnel Specialist (PS) (Paygrade E-5 and above) Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities and retain accuracy Excellent organizational, time management and follow up skills Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively, according to goals of the organization Preferred Experience: Knowledge/experience of the ADDIE process Knowledge/experience of NETC E2E and S2025 RRL process Knowledge/experience of CPM/AIM/LOM A Harold Associates, LLC provides products/services that are considered defense services under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and, therefore, requires applicants to be U.S.
