Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Years of Experience: 5-10 years of banking experience, preferably in commercial real estate lending specialized in multifamily lending (5+ units)

Responsibilities & Duties
Responsible for underwriting multifamily loans within the Multifamily Lending Group with limited supervision.
Oversight of overall processing and underwriting due diligence in accordance with bank guidelines.
Work with sales teams to determine most appropriate deal structure and resolve outstanding issues.
Interface with client to obtain critical property, management and borrower details for each transaction.
May conduct property site inspections.
Will serve as backup for underwriting manager and mentor for analyst, underwriters and sales associates.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and must possess a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in commercial real estate specialized in multifamily lending (5+ units).
Strong knowledge of California multifamily markets
Ability to develop pro-forma analysis, rent roll analysis, operation history analysis, market analysis review of third-party reports and sponsor analysis.
Ability to independently complete loan sizing and narrative template for presentation to credit.
Strong ability to analyze complex sponsor financials by reviewing sponsor financial support documentation (financial statements, schedule of real estate and verification of deposit).
Understanding of property valuation techniques (income and sales approach).
Strong project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative work environment while maintain high standards of quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high ability to problem solve.
