Senior Media Planner/Media Planner provides the client with the most effective media plan recommendation to insure that the client’s goals are met.
He/she must be the day-to-day steward on assigned brands.
The Media Planner is required to develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of their clients’ business and ensure that all client media requirements are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
Knowledge of an Asian language a big plus (Chinese, Hindi, Tagalog, Korea, Vietnamese).
Responsibilities: § Develops media strategy and recommendations under supervisor guidance.
§ Assembles media consideration and make recommendations on how to best allocate campaign budgets.
§ Presents media plans and provide plan maintenance including objectives/strategies and updates.
§ Prepares flowcharts and budgets for media plan using Excel, PowerPoint, and other software.
§ Manages and monitor ongoing campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are executed properly and according to client expectations.
§ Handles any client requests
– i.e.
plan changes, budget changes, provide media information § Meets with media sales reps and industry representatives on a regular basis to pursue ideas that are strategically aligned with the client’s business § Coordinates and communicates between departments on project status § Provides status report of update on assigned projects developments § Generates material booking forms § Prepares and issue media buys and ensure proper execution § Generates post buy analysis reports § Participate in brainstorming sessions
