Nikola is seeking an energetic, motivated individual for the Materials Readiness Analyst position to support our vehicle launch and material change processes.

The Material Readiness Analyst will work closely with all departments engaged in the launch process to support our growing product lines of disruptive transportation solutions and will be responsible for managing the material supply line from supplier to the manufacturing facility.

This also includes maintenance of the item master parameters in ERP system and communication of any potential supply interruptions.

Effectively communicate and provide coordination of trial and changing parts to the engineering and manufacturing teams, managing the planned delivery dates to the assembly plant and work with related departments for on-time delivery and communication of any changes to those dates.

Key Responsibilities include: This position is responsible for the correct engineering change implementation in the manufacturing environment by managing the change actions and material breakpoints Track engineering deviations and record implementation of the affected VIN range Coordinate the related activities for the engineering and production trial runs and document the results Support the Design Responsible Engineer for eBOM change implementation related issues Work with Supply Chain and Production Control to resolve and close material readiness issues Assist cross-functional team members with PLM related Part and eBOM issue clarification Coordination of trial part delivery, staging, containment, inventory, and disposition with related departments.

Coordinate with Production Control to assure the latest build plan and revised effective dates of changes are communicated Understand inventory locations and levels of changing parts by working with related departments for a continuous flow of parts for trails, or production parts after implementation of changes Coordinate with materials to ensure FIFO is taking place and old level parts are dispositioned according to plan Participate in change control meetings to understand scope of product changes and timing Relevant experience inventory control systems and knowledge of MBOM structure Experience in the automotive industry Logistics, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain areas Communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company Prepare metrics, process documentation and status reports Full understanding of downstream tools impacts, e.g., PLM, MES, and ERP applications Professional Skills and Experience: Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills 3 years working as Material Readiness, Command Center, Pre-series Coordinator, Materials Change coordinator or a related job Vehicle Launch experience (OEM experience is a plus) Ability to work cross-functionally with a customer-driven focus and sense of urgency Attention to detail and data quality Ability to collect, compile, interpret product data quickly Experience with PDM/PLM applications (Team-Center & 3DExperience) Experience with ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus) Must have hands-on experience with Change Management tools and processes (Enovia and TeamCenter is a plus) Working knowledge of vehicle product structure and vehicle manufacturing processes Understanding of product design and vehicle development process Independent worker with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is critical Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management or Engineering preferred Strong computer abilities Candidates must have current U.S.

work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.

This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
