I.K. Hofmann USA has an immediate contract opening for experienced Ops. Agent in Los Angeles, CA for a global Cargo Facility.
The Ops. Agent is responsible for:
Load Control duties
– Calculations and Planning of load distribution for the aircraft taking into consideration the rules and regulations as per GOM
-Cargo onload optimization in regard to aircraft volume and weight
-Prepares flight relevant documents such as general declarations, permits for local customs authorities, etc.
-Produces arrival and departure notifications
-Briefs GHA about off-, on load as well as sequence of loading/unloading
-Issuance of loadsheet and completion of Notoc
-Dispatch of operational messages as well as other post flight activities
-Maintains traffic reports
-Coordination of station activities and suppliers
-Check of all ULD’s for airworthiness to ensure a safe flight operation
-Check ramp area for cleanliness
-Monitors the condition, the readiness, the amount of the equipment as well as the amount of necessary staff from GHA required on the aircraft and reports any irregularities
-Loads and unloads the aircraft as per loading instructions in accordance with the requirements of the GOM or supervises this functions
