Market Development Executive

Hi, we’re Oscar.

We’re hiring a Market Development Executive to join our Regional Sales team for our West Markets.

In this role, you can be located in Los Angeles, CA or Tempe, Az.

About the role:

As an Oscar Market Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving membership growth through our General Agency, agency, and broker partnerships.

You will spearhead distribution strategy across your assigned markets, ensuring insurance agents have the information and tools to effectively sell Oscar’s unique and innovative products. 

Responsibilities:
Build and manage GA, agency, and broker relationships in the assigned market Host product and certification trainings for individual agents, agencies and GA partners Plan and manage sales events with community organizations and provider partners Identify and test new growth opportunities, sharing learnings with broader sales team Meet or exceed sales goals while providing great service to our distribution partners Provide local competitive intelligence and market research Be the voice of the brokerage community within Oscar
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 4+ years of sales experience  Experience driving revenue growth ) Experience presenting to varying audiences Experience in health insurance or Medicare Advantage sales  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G Suite, Slack, and Salesforce
