The MP is accountable for leveraging the firms capabilities to maximize opportunities for business development, profitability, quality client service and expansion of market share.

Ultimately the MP is a People Champion, Client Advocate, Culture Creator and a Community Leader ensuring that their teams are delivering exceptional value to our clients.Job DescriptionPrincipal Responsibilities:Deliver the best insights to clients while enabling employees to grow and build meaningful careers.Accountable for achieving and exceeding the short-and long-range operating objectives & financial targets within the assigned market.Leverage Cushman & Wakefield’s local and global insight.  Collaborate across borders and beyond service lines, corporate partners and enablement groups to fuel ideas and provide adaptable, client centric solutions.Inspire and motivate diverse teams of employees.  Empower employees to share their ideas and views.  Create a collaborative, engaging work environment. Actively recruit new brokers and/or broker teams.

Accountable to retain and motivate the most highly-skilled and successful brokers, service line professionals and staff to achieve growth and maximize revenue goals.Monitor and analyze competitive business practices including: strategy, operations, marketing, business development, brand recognition, general economic conditions and compensation/commission structures.

Provide recommendations for improvements and changes as appropriate.Demonstrate best practices in leadership and talent strategy as evidenced by increased bench strength and achievement of organizational objectives.

Mentor, guide and coach brokers and other service line managers to expand their capabilities within Cushman & Wakefield.  Ensure that the most effective individuals and teams with the appropriate skills are available to develop and execute strategies.Uphold the mission and standards of Cushman & Wakefield and support firm-wide initiatives and policies.  Model and promote the highest standards for ethical conduct.Facilitate resolution of conflicts impartially by maintaining integrity, professionalism, communication and a focus on providing exceptional client experiences.Take action to correct unsatisfactory conditions that may arise and direct whatever action may be deemed necessary to accomplish business objectives.Engage in local community activities focused on adding value towards sustainability and wellbeing. Knowledge and Experience:Real Estate LicenseBachelor’s degree required.

An MBA or other advanced degree with real estate or operations concentration is highly desirable.15+ years of commercial real estate brokerage and/or asset management experience.

At least five years of either investor or broker’s side commercial office leasing experience, ideally within the local market.Demonstrate ability in leading, motivating and inspiring diverse work teams.  Be fluent in the language and principals of institutional investment real estate.Strong credibility in the local market, with the ability to recruit and retain key talent.Extensive experience working with institutional clients with a knowledge of development, property management, asset sales, contract negotiations, gross and/or net leasing, re-positioning, real estate valuation metrics, and risk management strategies.

A working knowledge of debt and capital markets preferred.
