Responsibilities Critical care extended transition program provides acute care nurses the opportunity to become competent in critical care nursing. The program is designed to prepare medical-surgical nurses to care for Telemetry patients. While working in telemetry the nurse will begin the critical care boot camp with precepted rotations in Medical ICUs, SICU and Trauma ICU.
