Litigation Paralegal

Roll Law Group PC, the “captive” law firm for The Wonderful Company and its subsidiaries, a privately held $5 billion company with over 10,000 employees and including such well-known brands as Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Almonds, Wonderful Halos, Wonderful Sweet Scarletts, POM Wonderful, FIJI Water, JUSTIN and Landmark wines, and Teleflora, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its legal team.
Roll Law Group has more than 20 litigation attorneys plus staff, providing litigation services to all of The Wonderful Company’s operating businesses.

Its attorneys try cases and appear in federal and state courts nationwide as well as before various government and administrative agencies, with significant expertise in, among other legal disciplines, employment, regulatory affairs, consumer protection, class actions, intellectual property, and trademark and brand enforcement.

A Day In The Life At Roll Law Group
Calendar case events and deadlines using Compulaw.

Send out case deadlines, weekly calendar reports, and maintain monthly trial calendar.

Assist with tracking and managing claims/litigation covered by client insurance.

Assist with matter management, including, analyzing matter status and communicating with attorneys regarding the same, accurately recording matter details into firm software, and generating matter status reports.

Scan and copy documents and make binders.

Provide litigation paralegal back up and assist.

Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Must
Effectively proficient in applying the rules of civil procedure in both California state and federal court; Have experience working with Compulaw or other similar deadline management software; Hard working, proactive, and detail-oriented; Organize their workload, prioritize multiple projects and multi-task in order to meet all deadlines; Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills and use sound judgment; Be discrete and maintain confidences; Communicate professionally and effectively (in writing, orally and in E-mail); Maintain high productivity with minimal instruction and supervision;

Paralegal certification and degree from an accredited college or university.

Minimum of 5 years of previous paralegal experience.

COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.
