Advisors LLP seeks bright and motivated team player to support our boutique law firm. The legal assistant will provide administrative support to the firm’s attorneys and support the firm’s business operations. The position is subject to varying degrees of demand and will provide backup support to our team.
Key Duties
- Support attorneys and other staff in the goal of fulfilling administrative or legal functions, including copy editing and redlining, in a timely manner
- Answer, screen, and transfer phone calls
- Maintain a professional demeanor in interactions with clients, attorneys and other parties
- Schedule courier services when needed
- Maintain an organized office filing system
- Assist with billing process
- Ad hoc duties as needed
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
Knowledge and Competencies
- Experience working in an professional services setting
- Proven ability to maintain records and confidentiality
- Experience communicating courteously and tactfully in written form and verbally
- Self-motivated
Qualifications
- 1-3 years in a professional services office environment
- College diploma and relevant work experience
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
- Interest in the legal field a plus
