Lead Server

*Bari is seeking experience lead servers!*

Inspired by the chic farmhouses of Southern Italy, Bari provides a breezy and welcoming bar and fireplace lounge for guests to sample seasonal cocktails, European wines, and an extensive selection of grilled meats, vegetables, and pastas. Offering “Aperitivo Hour” through late night for great music, casual service, and a rotating menu of small plates.

*Pay:* $18/hr plus tips

*Schedule:*

* 2-3 day work schedule
* 6 – 8 hour shifts
* Must be able to work weekends

***Essential Functions***

* Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
* Serve 4 – 6 table sections
* Have complete knowledge of Restaurant’s food, wine and cocktail menus.
* Sell alcohol and food items.
* Able to use Toast POS system to take orders.
* Able to interact with guests in a friendly, quick and efficient manner.
* Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant daily.
* Check identification of guests to ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.
* Must be comfortable leading service (i.e. support other service staff, lead pre-shift line up, communicate relevant information with Chef, hosts and service staff, comp items, manage upset guests, manage FOH staff breaks)
* Open & close restaurant.
* Attend weekly restaurant overview meetings.
* Write nightly service reports and communicate to owner & operations manager any important information daily.
* Manager FOH stationary supply inventory weekly and place orders when needed.

*Education and Experience:*

* Minimum of 3 years of previous Server experience (upscale or fine dining preferred).
* Lead or management experience preferred but not required.
* State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.
* Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol.
* Knowledge of POS systems

**Proof of vaccination is REQUIRED**
