Within BR&T’s Mission System Technologies (MST) organization, Boeing’s Advanced Computing Technology (ACT) team performs innovation, development and maturation of Advanced Computing and it’s associated subordinate technologies.
We are looking to add an experienced Lab Administrator (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our amazing, collaborative team. As a highly productive, talented, self-motivated, and creative member of Boeing Research and Technology, you will work with multiple engineering and support groups, on both ongoing operational efforts and exciting future projects.
This position will be based out of Huntington Beach, CA.
The Boeing Disruptive Computing & Networking Organization is developing critical new technologies that will enable Future Advanced Sensors and Resilient Networks. Boeing is currently working multiple technology developments and is expanding our scope in this rapidly growing market. Boeing is seeking a candidate with experience in Lab Administrator that can coordinate and facilitate across a diverse team and help us maintain, and grow our lab facilities footprint and capabilities to support this growing Boeing business.

Position Responsibilities:

Facilitate various facilities and infrastructure support organizations in developing new Boeing El Segundo proprietary program work spaces and providing support to existing operational labs.

Coordinate/Collaborate with our portfolio program leaders and government customer representatives to ensure all required facility security requirements are implemented.

Facilitate across a broad widely diverse team including El Segundo site facilities, program security, Boeing Finance, Boeing Capital Acquisition construction contractor(s), scheduling and IT infrastructure support personnel to establish baseline integrated master schedule planning and execution.

Communicate and report progress, risks, issues and opportunities to senior program leadership.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final US Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

2+ years of experience with laboratory operations
Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

TS/SCI clearance and/or an Adjudicated Counter Intelligence scope polygraph completed within the last 5 years

Experience in developing new lab facilities and/or lab facility capabilities

Experience supporting new technology development programs
Typical Education/Experience:
Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $104,000 – $141,000
Summary pay range for Senior: $126,000 – $173,000
