Junior System Administrator – Film Production

Tetavi’s technology allows audiences to become social creators by democratizing volumetric video capture and allowing anyone to enjoy immersive 3D moments on their mobile, web, and VR/AR headset devices.

We are looking for a self-motivated System Administrator to join our Los Angeles studio team and carry out IT work on film sets supporting a state of the art volumetric capture technology.

You’ll play a crucial role in filming VR/AR immersive media.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualities
Have a passion for creating VR/AR experiences
Have a strong sense of organization, documentation, and scheduling.
Can effectively communicate with co-workers.
Knowledgeable in both open-source and proprietary tools.
Can adapt to new technologies, evolving threats, and changing regulations.
Can analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a similar position or bachelor (Honors) degree in a relevant field.
BA/BS desired in Computer Science, Cinema and Media Arts, or Business field or equivalent work experience
2 or more years of experience in system administration or IT.

Preferably in VFX or Post Production.Linux and Microsoft Windows desktop management.
Server and network management.
Cloud administration, e.g., security groups, load balancing.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Background with cinematography, video editing, or VFX is a plus.
Experience working on film sets is a plus.
