Position is contingent upon contract award Suvi is looking for a Janitor / Grounds Maintenance to join our team in support of a Department of State activity Springfield VA.
Responsibilities: Performs routine cleaning of all areas of the site facilities.
Perform Janitorial tasks to maintain sanitary conditions including, but not limited to floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash, wall, window, bathroom, and furniture cleaning.
Additionally, involve restocking restrooms with supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restroom fixtures Ensure industrial and administrative working areas and restrooms, offices, hallways, elevators, escalators, common areas and immediate building perimeters are clean and kept in an orderly manner.
Maintains the grounds of the DOS GITM facilities.
Duties also include cutting grass, trimming hedges, edging, pruning shrubs, planting grass, spreading fertilizer, and application of pesticides.
Performs all other related duties as assigned and required.
