The IT Service Desk Intern will perform general administration and technical duties required to support activities and operations of the Information Technology Service Desk. This is a temporary position working 30 hours per week for one year. This is an hourly paid position at$15 per hour for undergradand$16 per hour for graduate level students.Training will be provided by OCHIN.Essential Duties Performs service desk functions, responds to ticket inquiries, records, documents, and troubleshoots customer issues.Performs duties associated with setup, configuration and installation of system software products and peripheral equipment.Programs and troubleshoots computer software and hardware. Identifies, logs, and resolves problems related to supported applications.Assists in analyzing, evaluating, and recommending techniques for implementation of new software applications and computer equipment.Assists in updates and maintenance of technology used by OCHIN StaffPerforms all other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program.Experience working with IT, customer support or technical support.Must have the ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience with superior attention to detail.Experience with MS Office Suite, some knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams & ZoomExperience thriving in a fast-paced environment. Work Location and Travel Requirements This position is 100% remote.
