IT Coordinator

We’re looking for an IT Coordinator to join our growing team.

The IT Coordinator
– under the supervision of the Head of Product
– will create and support each new clinic opening and will provide IT support for our clinical, product, HR, and facilities teams.

This person will spend part of their time in our clinics throughout the Los Angeles area, but their home base will be our HQ in Culver City, CA.

Travel to other Modern Animal markets will be required as we continue to expand along with availability on nights and weekends as needed to support the team.

What the job entails:

  • Partners cross-functionally with Head of Product and collaboratively across teams internally and externally, building trusting relationships and cohesive culture
  • Acts as the primary person providing IT documentation
  • Provides clinical staff with a technical on-boarding
  • Oversees the provisioning and tracking of new and existing staff IT equipment
  • Creates and implements plans and procedures for new clinic openings that can be replicated across multiple locations
  • Acts as a point of contact to the Real Estate and Facilities teams for new clinic openings in regards to the equipment needed, space-related planning, low voltage contractors, ISPs, and timeline planning
  • Partners with the Real Estate, Development, and Clinical teams to develop and provide feedback on any impediments affecting new clinic openings
  • Helps to develop a strong IT internal reporting and tracking system, with clear and transparent messaging
  • Supports the Facilities Manager with escalation for clinic and technical maintenance emergencies
  • Coordinates with vendors for emergency and incident management planning for new clinic openings
  • Collaborates with property management to arrange maintenance, improvements, and repairs when applicable for new clinic openings
  • Coordinates and executes minor repairs
  • Maintains general upkeep of facility during build-out phase

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems

  • Exceptional organization skills & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Operate with high emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills
  • Experience in a medical (or similar) environment
  • Must have the ability to travel between local clinics on their own accord
  • Willingness to travel to new regions for new clinic openings
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other IT staff
