The Attendant must also be able to conduct sales transactions on a computer; involving heavy cash handling with emphasis on credit card transactions.Ability to navigate the Internet and mobile devices to assist guest with online purchases, assist them with park entry, answer guest questions involving the park application including how to determine attraction wait times, park hours, and other promotions of the park.Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a level sufficient to follow written policies and procedures; complete a variety of basic forms; and interact with guests including understanding and responding to specific questions.Distribute, take, and scan tickets. Provide maps, show guides, and flyers to guest while monitoring entry of guests into the park. Must restock maps and show guides when supply is running low.Conduct sales transaction on a computer; involving heavy cash handling with an emphasis on credit card transaction.Must be able to check hand stamps and monitor park re?entry gates.Process and capture photos to be applied to Season Passes that will be utilized for guest entry.Provide crowd control by greeting and directing guest to the appropriate location.Maintain the upkeep of the interior and exterior ticket booths, turnstiles, and gate locations. This includes cleaning and notifying a supervisor when there is something that needs to replaced.Constantly upgrade and upsale Season Pass or any additional upcoming products via verbal communication with guest by providing detailed information on how promotions work.Scan and distribute guest add on’s such as Fast Lane vouchers and promotional pins.Have the ability to orgainze and keep track of guest add on’s such as Fast Lane and promotional items.Qualifications: Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
