Job Summary: Provides advanced support and coordinator for one or more functional areas of human resources. Processes Human Resources-related materials, which may include various applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, informational and other confidential forms and records. Gathers information and prepares reports, as requested. Maintains current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communications and distributes when appropriate. May conduct and summarize internal and external surveys to gather information for policy development and planning. Major Job Responsibilities: Applies advanced knowledge of human resources to assignments of moderate complexityResponds to employee questions related to established HR policies and proceduresPerforms HRMS data management activities, including initiating transactions and running reportsAssists with conducting the onboarding, orientation and exit processes for staffAssists in the administration of leave procedures. Generates appropriate correspondence, tracks leaves, and maintains files as appropriateAssists with the employment process, including screening applicants, conducting background checks and processing all related paperwork/HRMS recordsMaintains human resources related files, including employee files, leave files and recruitment files – both paper and electronicProvides general administrative/project support for human resources staff Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferredMinimum 4-5 years related experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive personal information with sound judgment and discretionAbility to work independently, consistently follow through with projects and assignments and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong computer skills, including experience with office software, email applications and human resources management systems, such as PeopleSoft, applicant tracking systems, and performance management systems Equal Opportunity Employer: We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
