HR Coordinator

SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe HR Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources function. This includes employee data entry and file maintenance, recruiting + onboarding, responding to employee questions, and general administrative support to HR and internal teams. This person will help in coordinating certain company-wide office services and related activities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSHR COORDINATION:* Provide assistance to the HR Department for new employee orientation.* Create offer letters and maintain employee files for OBE’s sister staffing agency (On Brand Staffing).* Conduct background checks and assist with the onboarding process; follow up with new hires on open items.* Prepare schedules for timesheet configuration.* Provide payroll and HR with information needed on projects/people hired for each pay period to ensure all people that worked were processed by payroll.* Assist with recruiting efforts and management of the ATS; pre-screen candidates and schedule interviews as needed.* Assist with HR and companywide Diversity Equity & Inclusion commitments and initiatives.OTHER* Assist in planning and hosting office, department and company events (in-person/virtual).* Coordinate employee rewards and recognition.* Meet or exceed deadlines on special projects, as assigned* Provide administrative support to OBE staff as needed, such as for expense reports, client requests, etc.* Support the purchase of office supplies, furniture and office equipment, as assignedDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEEDUCATIONAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and HR Certifications preferred.EXPERIENCE* Minimum 1-2 years as a HR coordinator or HR Assistant supporting an extremely fast paced HR department* Recruiting and DE&I experience preferredESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills* Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Office, (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)* Working knowledge of databases and excel spreadsheets; project management software a plus* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work* Ability to work under pressure with strong time management skills* Strong analytical and problem solving skills* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to execute in a timely manner* Ability to work independently and to drive assigned projects* Experience with ATS (i.e. Greenhouse) preferredOTHER QUALITIES AND SKILLS* Strong skills in office administration, planning and effective organization, and meeting deadlines* Maintain confidentiality in performing certain duties, be respectful, flexible, and demonstrate sound work ethics* Customer service oriented attitude to all assigned duties* Willingness to work from the office as needed (following CDC and DOH guidelines)
