Based in Los Angeles, this highly visible role aims to provide strategic partnership and consultation to the growing North America TikTok business team.As an HR Business Partner, you will support your organization’s leader and team across the entire talent lifecycle.
The role will be expected to strategize and collaborate with corporate, local, and Center of Excellence (CoE) HR team members to identify growth opportunities, to engage and retain employees through HR initiatives, and to aid in establishing an efficient organizational design.
Specifically, you will:
– Consult with business leaders to translate business strategies and objectives into an HR roadmap; garner support and identity ownership for that roadmap; establish regular meeting cadence to advise/inform leaders of progress and further transparency throughout the organization.
– Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession; organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
– Proactively manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and legal risk; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures, and governmental regulations, partner with legal department to support investigations as needed.
– Provide guidance and assist the implementation of business restructures, workforce planning and headcount modeling.
– Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring and timely feedback; execute a goal setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibrations process.
– Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
– Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs which foster employee engagement, D&I and and success.Qualifications
– Background of at 4+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner in a high-growth company and a total of at least 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, as either a generalist, people leader, business partner, or human capital consultant.
– Prior experience supporting and working in a Tech Business environment is preferred.
– Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
– Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs.
– Demonstrated progression and increased scope in the matrix, high-growth organizations.
– Deep business acumen and the executional know-how of building and growing businesses through the ongoing development and support of its people.
