Your responsibilities will include evaluating funding opportunities, advising clients on project development, conducting research to justify program designs, and crafting competitive proposal narratives. Key Responsibilities: Proposal Writing and Revision: Craft and refine grant proposals to enhance their competitiveness. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to develop robust grant proposals from initial concept to final submission. Consultative Service: Provide professional guidance to clients throughout the grant writing process. Team Management: Oversee remote proposal development teams to ensure timely submission of proposals. Independent Deliverable Creation: Produce high-quality, client-ready documents with minimal oversight. Deadline Management: Handle tight deadlines effectively, delivering proposals that require minimal revisions quickly. Desired Skills and Attributes: Professional writing and research experience. Ability to both accept and provide constructive feedback. Strong fact-checking, writing, and editing skills in English. Keen interest in prospect research, fundraising strategies, and grant writing. Candidates with relevant experience and other degrees will also be considered. Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as a grant writer, reviewer, or editor, with hands-on proposal support and grant writing experience. Previous experience working with federal funding agencies, particularly the US Department of Education, is essential.
