The Role

As the Head of Product, Growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Linktree’s mission to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. You will lead the development and execution of Linktree’s growth strategy with the goal of driving acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for the business. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this is a unique opportunity to work cross functionally across marketing, product, and engineering to shape the future of the creator economy, social commerce, and so much more.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product-led growth strategy, balancing short term wins with long term strategic bets in line with the company’s overall mission and goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Growth Marketers, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation, impact, and collaboration.
  • Develop a comprehensive growth strategy and portfolio of investments across the entire lifecycle that will drive Linktree’s growth, spanning acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement of users on the platform.
  • Recommend strategic shifts or pivots based on changes in the business landscape or industry trends.
  • Inspire and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Research to drive product development and achieve growth objectives
  • Communicate key metrics and insights to senior management, guiding future strategic direction.
  • Champion a data-driven, hypothesis-based rapid experimentation driven culture.
  • Advocate for our Linkers – our users – by understanding their needs and behaviors, and translating these into product improvements and innovations.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a product growth leadership role.
  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves and execute, not just manage a team, with a track record of developing and executing growth strategies that have significantly improved user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Deep understanding of analytics, measurement, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of performance marketing channels including paid marketing, CRM, SEO, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to effectively influence laterally, upward, and downward in an organization.
  • Proven ability to craft a portfolio of product improvement ideas and devise experiments to inform how you prioritize opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using metrics and data analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Deep empathy for customer needs and insights, coupled with an intuitive grasp of commercial opportunities.
  • Willingness to wear whatever hat is needed to get the job done.
  • Bias for action; you believe that perfection is the enemy of good.

Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $190,000-$284,000 in the San Francisco Bay or Los Angeles area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate expertise, the scope of role and level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

We are a global and diverse group offering a truly flexible and family friendly work environment. Kids, pets, and the occasional delivery person are all actively encouraged to appear on our Zoom screens. All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a discretionary hybrid approach.

We offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a “normal” 9-5 being a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.
