Head of Media Operations

Description

As Company’s Head of Media Ops, you will provide critical day to day management of the Media Operations team, continuously improving the team’s ability to exceed client expectations through efficient, accurate, and consistent fulfillment of ad campaigns utilizing Amazon DSP and other platforms. You thrive when you’re required to bounce between hands-on tactical support and strategic project development. Your passion lies in removing barriers for your team and helping them become masters in campaign management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Media Ops team who own the implementation of advertising campaigns from start to finish, monitor and optimize multiple campaigns at a time, and ensure campaigns launch and deliver on schedule and according to client expectations
  • Become an expert on Company’s platforms and tools to improve the Media Ops team’s day to day performance
  • Implement and enforce processes that enable the team to scale and work efficiently
  • Manage a client support queue
  • Partner with client strategy team to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Identify and produce ongoing training for Media Ops team
  • Report on hiring needs as demand grows
  • Understand team bandwidth and determine who account distribution
  • Support monthly billing process
  • Establish process and protocol for pre-launch and post-launch work to improve quality assurance
  • Partner with team stakeholders to develop key benchmarks and internal metrics to uphold
  • Identify issues that prevent campaigns from hitting KPI ‘s and performance benchmarks, and propose solutions
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support
  • Contribute to strategic projects that will help drive efficiency and revenue growth for Company

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in programmatic advertising operations, OTT and e-commerce experience a plus
  • Experience establishing performance benchmarks, best practices, and key business metrics
  • Deep understanding of digital media ad serving, technology, and associated terminology
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work within a highly collaborative, dynamic environment
  • Motivated individual, with a positive attitude, who consistently strives to exceed expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to legally work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon DSP
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • Proven track record influencing process improvements that scale broadly, while inventing and simplifying within existing processes
  • Proven track record of growing accounts, hitting SLAs, and impeccable execution of campaigns for clients
  • Strong data analysis abilities (Excel v-lookups, pivot tables, and basic functions)
