Job Description The Sante Group is seeking a Full-Time Grant Specialist to join our team The Grant Specialist will be fully dedicated to conducting research, preparing budgets in collaboration with finance department, writing and editing components of grant proposals requiring advanced job skills.
What You’ll Do: Establish the organization’s strategy to approach the grant life cycle process.
Coordinates contract review in conjunction with senior leadership and program directors to manage contract negotiations with funders.
Facilitate internal collaboration across departments as required to fulfill grant compliance.
Establishes clear grant cycle structure to include timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
Serves as project lead for implementation of newly awarded projects/programs.
Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects funded by grants.
Develop & write grant proposals to foundations, corporations & government agencies.
Create and manage a multi-year grants calendar with a schedule for prospecting.
Create a range of accurate, compelling materials including fact sheets, web content, press releases, and reports.
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with The Santé Group’s Leadership (managers and directors) to produce proposal content.
Communicate The Santé Group’s mission, services, and programs to potential funders persuasively.
Assemble & submit grant requests, including letters of support, proposals, & presentations.
Write, edit and proofread grant proposals and other communications to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax; and to improve clarity and readability.
Condense population/patient statistics into persuasive visual or written formats for grant applications.
Conduct grants research, remaining cognizant of The Santé Group’s needs.
Manage and create development communications, including monthly email newsletters, social media posts, reports, quarterly newsletters, acknowledgements for charitable gifts, appeal letters, etc.
What We Require: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ related experience Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors and build long-term relationships Ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside The Santé Group High energy and passion for Santé’s mission is essential Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail Customer focus Flexibility when meeting grant proposal deadlines.
Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
Must be able to be trained on Electronic Medical Record software.
