ADP is hiring a Contract Negotiator in our Global Procurement Organization.
In this position, you will work as part of a team responsible for the effective building and managing of a wide variety of third-party partner and vendor relationships in support of ADP s domestic and international strategies, products/services, business and technology objectives.
The individual will be responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of vendor transactions and building strong vendor relations.
In addition, the individual will support internal ADP business partners regarding their relevant areas of focus.
In order to be effective in this role, the individual must focus on preserving ADP s business flexibility, reduce ADP s financial and litigation risk as well as maximizing identified initiative impacts to ADP and its clients.
It is important for the individual to have a basic knowledge of business, technology and legal developments that can impact ADP s business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support to the ADP business partner designed to enable ADP to better achieve its identified initiatives for its product and service offerings, financial priorities and operational readiness.
Build vendor relations designed to secure long term relationships .Collaborate with their management to assist in the development and implementation of innovative solutions focused on process improvement and operational efficiencies.Proactively manage relationships to ensure business needs are met in a timely manner while minimizing financial impact.Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with internal ADP clients, as well as third party partners.
Negotiate a variety of vendor transactions on behalf of the business partner, in support of ADP s technology and product and/or service initiatives, with a focus on achieving ADP s financial goals while minimizing risk.Ensure the timely management and closure of transactions.
