Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metalsClassify the non-ferrous and establish the type of materialProperly weigh and track the materialDo general maintenance of the premisesEnsure the equipment in good conditionData entry into the in-house receiving software Provide excellent customer serviceHelp with torch cutting if necessaryPreparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as requiredWork with a safety oriented mindsetQualificationsExperience in operating a forkliftExperience in metal recycling as assetExperience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an assetAbility to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditionsCustomer Service experience in a retail preferredAbility to work as a teamExcellent attendance and safety record.Additional InformationAdditional Information:Permanent and full-time position;40 hours per week, including some rotating weekend workOpportunity for overtime;What we offer:Group insurance after 3 months;401K Workwear and work boots provided after 3 months;Videos To Watchhttps://youtu.be/oQzGp-MLQZ4
