FuseFX is seeking a highly motivated FX Apprentice with a passion for television and/or feature film VFX, to join our creative team through FuseFX’s Apprenticeship Program! This offers an opportunity for an FX Apprentice to become members of our FX department and work on an array of exciting VFX projects.The Apprenticeship Program will start with a short intensive training period conducted by senior members of our team. Upon completion of the training period and evaluation, the Apprentices will transition into production shot work.Responsibilities:Deliver consistently high-quality work and troubleshoot technical problems on assigned shotsMaintain a desire to deliver consistent high quality in terms of aesthetic and technical work and communicate effectively with other artists/supervisorsTraits of a successful FuseFX FX Apprentice:Bachelor s degree in either Computer Art and/or Visual Effects, preferredStrong knowledge of Houdini and FX work.Good understanding of photorealistic VFX workflowAbility to take direction and implement feedback with a positive attitudeAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced environmentSharp organizational and time management skillsA fluent understanding of photography, color, and lightPractical knowledge of composition and perspective for shot design and look developmentFuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR.
